This style of vintage porcelain coffee set, featuring a "courting couple" scene, has a complex origin story related to its production and branding for export. Many of these items were produced in Bavaria, Germany however some were also produced in Japan, I can't say for certain on what the origin country is. The "Foreign" mark on porcelain indicates that the item was manufactured outside of the United Kingdom.
This was a country of origin mark commonly used in the early to mid-20th century, often found on goods from Germany and Japan that were made for export. This is a really beautiful set and includes 17 pieces with a coffee pot, a sugar pot, a creamer, coffee cups and saucers. Although this is described as a coffee set, I don't think you would have any issue using this as a tea set aswell. The best thing about this set is it is brand new, nothing has been used and there is no damage which is rare for a set of this age. The outside box is slighly damaged and missing its sides.
