This vintage 1980s Verbilki Dmitrov fine Russian porcelain set is featured at the Andy Warhol Museum in PA in the time capsule collection of Prima Reytenbarg. Verbilki Dmitrov was founded in 1766 in Verbilki, Russia. In recognition and celebration of their 200th anniversary, Verbilki Dmitrov placed an emphasis on premium quality, developing an art laboratory of highly skilled sculptors and painters with long standing in the field. Tea and coffee sets are their speciality executed by Soviet artists in the best Russian national traditions.
Dmitrov porcelain is displayed in many Russian and international exhibitions. The stunning design of this coffee/tea service is in the Lomorov style. The service for six includes cups, saucers, dessert plates, and lidded sugar bowl and creamer. Cups: 2 1/2" H x 3 1/4" W.
