Vintage Pormeirion TOTEM White Coffee Set by Susan Williams-Ellis, England

  

Vintage TOTEM coffee set by Portmeirion England, designed by Susan Williams-Ellis in 1961. The set is comprised of 1 tall, slim coffee pot with lid, 6 saucers, 6 coffee cups, 1 creamer and 1 sugar bowl. The set is in good vintage condition, with some discolouration and / or crazing which does't impact on its usage or aesthetics. One cup has a tiny burst glaze bubble and another one a tiny chip, in both cases on the base (see last photo).

Te creamer and the sugar bowl are in pristine, as new, condition. Except the saucers which are unmarked, all pieces have moulded on the base. "'TOTEM' by Susan Williams-Ellis Portmeirion Pottery Stoke-on-Trent Made in England". Height: 330 mm (13 in). Diameter: 90 mm (3 1/2 in).
