Vintage Tea/Coffee set Thun M. Z 24 ct Gold with Cobalt Czech Porcelain

  

Czech porcelain production started in 1790s, when the extensive deposits of kaolin clay were found in the region of Carlsbad. In 1792 a porcelain manufactory was established in Horni Slavkov and two years later, in 1794, another one in Klasterec nad Ohri. Beautiful Czech Thun porcelian 24 ct gold with deep cobalt base.

Set includes: - Coffee pot (height 23 cm) - Creamer (height 11 cm) - Sugar bowl (height 12 cm) - 6 x Tea Cup (height 7.5 cm, diameter 8 cm) - 6 x Saucer (diameter 15 cm) - 6 x Dessert plate (diameter 25.520 cm) - Cake plate (diameter 3528 cm) - 5 x Tea spoon (lenght 13 cm). All items of the set are in good condition, with no chips, no cracks or crazing(There is some crazing near the point where the handle joins the creamer).
