Carlton Ware Rouge Royale Vintage Hand painted Coffee Set

  
Offered is a rare and gorgeous vintage hand painted Carlton Ware Coffee Set in the pattern Rouge Royale/Oriental, consisting of a Coffee Pot, Covered Sugar bowl, Creamer and S ix Cups and Saucers. Slight crazing can be seen on the bottoms of a few pieces under a magnifying glass. The hand painted border design on the saucers and coffee pot features rich burnish gold filigree embellished with raised enamel flowers and dots in blue. The saucers have a slightly scalloped shape, as do the cups. The center of the saucers features a Chinese fisherman. The handles and interiors of the cups and the creamer are gold. The pieces feature a Chinese pagoda, a bridge, birds and flowers in raised enamels. Size: Coffee Pot stands 7 1/2 inches tall X 7 inches wide spout to handle. Creamer stands 3 1/4 inches tall X 4 inches wide spout to handle. Covered sugar 4 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide.

Saucer 4 1/2 inches wide and cup 2 3/8 inches high and 3 1/4 inches wide including the handle.
