This is a Crown Ducal coffee set from the 1925 to 1929, complete 6cups and saucers, sugar, cream and coffee pot. Transfer pattern scene of a Beau in powdered wig calling on his lovers with a bouquet of flowers. She is anxiously waiting for him and watching out from leaded glass windows for his arrival. On the teapot it look as if her mother is also waiting for Mr Bouquet to arrive, perhaps they are about to have an interesting conversation? Very nice little design details gilding to rims of cups sugar bowl edges and handle of pot.
